CHANEL summer suit in a vibrant red, crafted from heavyweight cotton, featuring the - Chanel buttons on the placket and sleeves. The jacket is double-breasted and has four patch pockets. It is cut in the characteristic boxy shape of a Chanel jacket, inspired by traditional Tyrolean jackets. The skirt, which is almost knee-length, is extremely fitted and flatteringly accentuates the wearer's curves. The skirt measures 74 cm at the waist, 71.5 cm in length, and 104 cm at the hips. The suit is in excellent condition, having been worn very little. It was purchased in 1986 at the Chanel boutique in Paris, then located at 34 Avenue Montaigne (Marlene Dietrich lived above it), for the equivalent of CHF 4,200.
