This scarf, designed by Madame La Torre in 1964–66, features charming roosters pecking in the dust.
It is a particularly rare collector’s item and comes in the traditional green of the first edition with golden roosters.
The silk has softened over time and shows slight signs of wear, but otherwise has no defects, hence listed as "good condition."
Here is some additional information: There is disagreement as to whether the full name is “Les Coqs,” “Les Jeunes Coqs,” “Les Coqs d’Or,” or “Les Jaunes Coqs.”
The year of release (1964 or 1966) is also not clearly established.
And the absence of the copyright symbol suggests that this is one of the earlier scarves; the later ones bear the copyright notice “HERMES PARIS.”
Without original packaging. A collector’s item for lovers of early designs.
